SNOHOMISH — A motorcyclist died Saturday night after colliding with a pickup near Snohomish.
The crash was reported just before 7:45 p.m. along 60th Street SE, west of town, said Lt. Jeff Brand with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
Detectives believe the truck made a left turn into a driveway in front of the motorcyclist, who didn’t have time to stop.
The motorcyclist, described as a Snohomish-area man in his 30s, died at the scene after extensive resuscitation efforts. The driver of the pickup also was a man from the area, Brand said. No other injuries were reported.
The sheriff’s collision team spent several hours at the scene collecting evidence.
They “will continue to evolve their investigation,” Brand said.
No other details were released Sunday.
