Motorcyclist seriously hurt in Highway 9 crash

LAKE STEVENS — A Maple Valley motorcyclist was seriously injured Sunday night in a crash near Frontier Village.

The man, 33, was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle and was listed in serious condition Friday.

Washington State Patrol troopers believe an Everett man, 76, was turning off Highway 9 onto Fourth Street SE in a small sports utility vehicle when the crash occurred, according to a press memo.
