MILL CREEK — A motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries after a collision with a car near Seattle Hill Road near Mill Creek Friday afternoon, according to a statement from the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
Witnesses reported that the motorcyclist, a 50-year-old man from Snohomish, was turning left out of a business in the 5100 block of 132nd Ave. SE and attempting to cross two westbound lanes when the car hit him. He was transported to a local hospital.
The driver of the car was uninjured and stayed on scene to talk with detectives from the sheriff’s Collisions Investigation Unit, spokesperson Shari Ireton said.
Both eastbound lanes of 132nd were closed in the afternoon as detectives continued to investigate the cause of the crash. One westbound lane was also closed.
