MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Crime in Mountlake Terrace has declined so far this year, according to statistics presented to the city council on Monday.
Year-to-date property crime fell about 8 percent from 2008, while crimes against people fell 17 percent, Mountlake Terrace Police Chief Greg Wilson said.
“Our presence in the community is providing our citizens and visitors a sense of safety and making criminals and violators very uncomfortable,” Wilson said.
