Mudslide cancels Sounder commuter train Monday

Commuters will need to take a bus or find another way to travel from Everett, Edmonds and Mukilteo.

MUKILTEO — A mudslide has canceled Sounder north commuter train service Monday.

The rail blockage happened after heavy rains and winds Saturday night between the Edmonds and Mukilteo stations.

Service is expected to resume Tuesday as long as another slide doesn’t happen.

Commuters will need to find another form of transit, including several options for buses, or transportation.
