SEATTLE — Sound Transit says a mudslide is blocking railroad tracks just south of Everett, canceling passenger train service between Seattle and Everett through Tuesday.
The agency is providing bus service Monday and Tuesday for commuters who usually take the Sounder train to work.
There is a 48-hour moratorium for passenger train traffic after slides on the route, meaning no passengers will ride the tracks until at least Wednesday.
