Ferry service to Clinton from Mukilteo was expected to resume at 9:30 p.m. after the run was canceled for several hours following a malfunction in the span that connects the dock to the boats.
The hoist that lowers and raises the span between the dock and the ferry stopped working properly around 4:30 p.m, a ferry official said. Two round-trip runs were made between Clinton and Edmonds while repairs were made.
