Mukilteo ferry terminal closes for repairs

Ferry dock closes

The Mukilteo ferry terminal will be closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday (March 25-27) as crews perform extensive repairs to the dock.

The weekend closure is the second of three planned over consecutive weekends. The Mukilteo terminal was closed last weekend and

is scheduled to be closed again April 1-3.

As an alternative, the ferry system is running boats between Edmonds and Clinton on Whidbey Island. They’re adding 17 sailings for each of the three Fridays and 16 each for Saturday and Sunday, compared with 37 and 35 on the usual Mukilteo-Clinton schedule, officials said.
