MILL CREEK — A multi-vehicle crash, including a rolled-over Seattle Public Works dump truck, caused a mess Friday on I-5 near Mill Creek.
No one was seriously injured in the crash, Washington State Patrol trooper Keith Leary said. The crash happened about 11:20 a.m. and it took several hours to clean up the wreckage.
A driver was exiting I-405 to northbound I-5 when she reportedly lost control and collided with a dump truck. The truck, loaded with concrete chunks, dirt and gravel, left the road and rolled over, Leary said. Two other vehicles were involved.
Emergency crews were forced to shut down the onramp while they worked to right the truck. Troopers are investigating speed as a potential factor in the crash, Leary said.
