Name released of man killed in Granite Falls car crash

EVERETT — The Granite Falls man who died after his car left the road and struck a power pole in Granite Falls on Saturday was identified by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner as Daniel P. Woodall, 26.

Snohomish County sheriff’s detectives believe two cars were racing eastbound in the 17800 block of Engebretsen Road about 8 p.m. Woodall lost control of his vehicle and struck a utility pole.

He died at the scene, the medical examiner’s office said.

No one else was injured.
