MARYSVILLE — Neighborhoods and homeowner associations looking to spruce up their community can apply for up to $5,000 in grant funding through Marysville’s new Community Beautification Program.
The grants are available for community landscaping, cleanup or other projects that enhance the look and feel of neighborhoods.
Applicants should include pictures of the area they want to improve, their plan of action, an explanation of the benefits of the project to the neighborhood’s community and a line-item budget. The deadline is 5 p.m. Oct. 15, and projects must be completed by Aug. 30, 2016.
The maximum available city funding for any project is $5,000.
