EVERETT — Snohomish County Superior Court has a new commissioner.
Lee B. Tinney was appointed Monday to replace Arden Bedle, who recently retired.
Tinney is expected to begin working as a commissioner on June 30. She’ll handle hearings in family law, guardianship, probate and certain mental health and juvenile matters.
Tinney has practiced law in the county for 34 years and for the past five regularly has served as a pro tempore commissioner and judge.
Her private practice has focused on mediation, arbitration, guardianships and family law.
