The city of Lynnwood worked with Trinity Lutheran Preschool to create a playground in town that teaches children about the importance of clean water and the environment. A grand opening was held in April at the Trinity Lutheran Preschool and Child Development Center, 6215 196th St. SW. The mayor and several city council members attended. City public works staff worked with the preschool on the project. The playground includes a sandbox, climbing equipment, a rock riverbed and a vegetable garden.
