BOTHELL — The Northshore Public Education Foundation has welcomed five new trustees to its board.

The Northshore Public Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides a service to public education and the community. The foundation operates independently of the Northshore School District and relies on community contributions to fund programs that provide additional learning opportunities for students beyond the district budget.
Since 1995, the foundation has awarded more than $96,000 in teacher minigrants to enhance learning opportunities for more than 40,000 students.
