EVERETT — Snohomish County officials have identified nine business sectors to promote as part of a new economic development strategy.
The sectors have either proven successful or are seen as promising opportunities. They are: trade and business development; aerospace; agriculture, fisheries and forest products; technology; military and defense; recreation and tourism; energy and sustainability; arts, culture and film; and education, life sciences and global health.
County Executive Dave Somers made the announcement Wednesday.
