ANCHORAGE, Alaska — An earthquake was felt widely in southeast Alaska on Wednesday morning, but officials say there were no immediate reports of damage.
The quake was recorded just after 7 a.m., centered about 90 miles northwest of Juneau. The Alaska Earthquake Information Center says the temblor was located at a depth of 4 miles, and had a preliminary magnitude of 4.6.
The National Tsunami Center in Palmer, Alaska, said there was no tsunami danger from the quake.
