The fate of the last of this year’s batch of potential new laws will be determined starting at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Gov. Chris Gregoire will be acting on dozens of bills including the supplemental operating and capital budgets.
One of the most controversial bills coming up is HB 2647, the proposed ban on toxics in toys. Gregoire’s been pressed by interest groups to sign it, to veto it and to sign part and veto part.
Another piece of legislation would allow beer and wine samples to be offered in supermarkets.
Here’s the entire list for Tuesday.
