POWERS, Ore. — A family of four that was reported missing for about one day was found by a U.S. Forest Service employee Wednesday.
The Coos Bay World reports David Johnson and his wife, Laura, along with their children, ages 5 and 3, spent the night in the China Flats area near Powers after their car got stuck in the snow.
The family, of North Bend, was in good condition.
A cellphone signal was recorded early Wednesday.
Laura Johnson’s father called police after the family failed to arrive for a 5:30 p.m. engagement at his house.
