Marysville: Volunteer soccer coaches needed
Marysville Parks and Recreation is seeking volunteer coaches for the youth soccer league.
Practices begin the week of April 4 and the league activities conclude the first week of June.
Volunteer packets are available at the Marysville Parks and Recreation Office, located at Jennings Memorial Park at 6915 Armar Road. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Monroe: Mayor of Skykomish to speak
The Monroe Historical Society is hosting Skykomish Mayor Fred Black at its annual membership meeting.
Black will be the guest speaker at the meeting scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, at Tualco Grange, 18933 Tualco Road.
He will speak about the history of Skykomish, the clean-up going on and the launch of the campaign to attract visitors.
Before the presentation, the society plans to elect new officers and trustees.
The event is free and for all ages. People can bring desserts to share in a potluck.
