Oak Harbor woman, 81, missing since June 21

OAK HARBOR — Island County investigators are asking for help finding a missing Oak Harbor-area woman.

Betty Tews, 81, has been missing since sometime before June 21, Island County sheriff’s detective Ed Wallace said. Her disappearance is considered suspicious.

Tews is described as frail, and she relies on medication, he said. She doesn’t have family locally, and investigators have found all of her cars. Her bank account has not been used.
