ARLINGTON — Officials have identified a man who drowned Saturday in a canoeing accident as Valeriy Lukashevich, 55, of Arlington.
The accident happened on a small lake off of Burn Road, between Arlington and Granite Falls. The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is investigating. Two women who were in the canoe survived after it overturned.
