Olympia man loses race with undercover patrol car

OLYMPIA — The Washington State Patrol says a 24-year-old driver tried to race another car on I-5 Sunday, pulling alongside and then speeding off at 120 miles per hour.

The Olympia man was surprised when the other car turned on flashing lights. It was a trooper in an unmarked car.

The Olympian reported that the driver was arrested for investigation of reckless driving and driving while his license was suspended.
