Spending gleaned from government consent agendas all over Snohomish County.

City of Arlington: $13,014 to LTI of Lynden for solid chloride for the wasterwater treatment plant.

City of Stanwood: $8,536 to Bonner Electric of Bellingham for electrical troubleshooting and repairs.

City of Monroe: $16,637 to Ogden, Murphy and Wallace of Seattle for legal services in January.

City of Lynnwood: $14,306 in dues to the Snohomish County Tourism Bureau.

Snohomish County Jail: Up to $50,000 to Dr. Allan Baker of Snohomish for dental services for jail inmates in 2012.

Snohomish County Public Works: $600,000 to Thomco Construction of Lake Stevens to cover extra costs on intersection improvements that began in 2008 at 20th Street SE and Highway 9. That makes the total contract amount nearly $24 million.

Snohomish County Road Maintenance: $175,900 bid awarded to CEMEX for washed rock used in this year’s road chip-seal projects.

Snohomish County Fire District 4 in Snohomish: $197 to Sky Valley Towing to take an ambulance from district headquarters to the shop in Monroe for a pump failure.

Marysville School District: $1,075 to the Imagine Children’s Museum.

Who is alleging harm and the reasons.

Agency: Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office

Claimant: Diana Lynn Larsen

Asking: $728.26

Why: Larsen alleges that two tires on her car popped when she ran over a spike strip that deputies laid out to stop a stolen car on 164th Street and the Bothell-Everett Highway on Sept. 23, 2011.

Agency: Snohomish County Road Maintenance

Claimant: Robert S. McBride

Asking: $442.09

Why: McBride alleges that a brush mower threw a rock through the rear window of his pickup, causing the window to shatter.
