Run: Register for annual Berry Run
This year’s Strawberry Festival Berry Run is planned for June 11.
The one-mile run and walk is scheduled to start at 8 a.m., and a 5K run is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. at The Plant Farm in Smokey Point.
Registration is $20 for ages 1 t
hrough 12, $25 for ages 13 to 59, and $20 for those over 60.
Participants are asked to arrive at least one hour before their race start time. Parking is available at The Plant Farm, located at 15022 Twin Lakes Ave.

Give: Raise money for Snohomish cops
The Snohomish Police Foundation is hosting a Starbucks fundraiser on Saturday.
The foundation will be selling T-shirts from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. outside the Starbucks on Avenue D. The T-shirts protest heroin trafficking in town.
Anyone who buys a shirt will get a coupon for a free tall drink.
The Snohomish Police Foundation is a nonprofit that raises money to support police programs in Snohomish.
Explore: Walks in Japanese Gulch
Take a guided walk in the Japanese Gulch this summer.
Walks are scheduled for 10 a.m. the first Saturday of June, July and August.
On June 4, learn easy ways to identify the native plants growing in the gulch and how they benefit wildlife. Led by steward Janet Carroll.
On July 2, go on the amphibian appreciation walk with Thayer Cueter, founder of the Edmonds Just Frogs Amphibian Center.
On Aug. 6, learn about the life cycle of salmon and visit the new fish ladder. Led by Suzi Wong Swint from Snohomish County Surface Water Management.
Sponsored by the Japanese Gulch Group, all walks are free and open to the public of all ages. The address is 1201 Mukilteo Lane.

Buy: White Elephant sale in Everett
The Degree of Pocahontas annual White Elephant sale and breakfast is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at 6814 Washington St., Everett.
Collectibles and jewelry will be available for sale. Breakfast will be served from 9 to 11 a.m.

Eat: Pancake breakfast planned
A community breakfast at Snohomish Senior Center is planned from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
The menu offers biscuits and gravy, eggs, ham, sausage, pancakes and French toast. The cost is $5. Proceeds benefit the center.

Sew: Learn with Busy Bee Quilters
Busy Bee Quilters is planning a day of sewing at Snohomish Library on Saturday.
Anyone interested in quilting is welcome to watch, learn, sew or quilt. Please bring your own equipment and supplies.
