Oh, we could go on! And you can, too, at “The Princess Bride” Quote-Along, to be held from noon to 2:30 p.m. Nov. 28 at the Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N.
This event, in partnership with the Seattle International Film Festival, features a showing of the beloved swashbuckling fairytale from 1987. Quote along for all the best lines with help from subtitles.
Free inflatable swords and rodents of unusual size, too.

Adopt: Give YWCA families happy holiday
The YWCA is need of sponsors for its Adopt A YWCA Family program. Gifts go directly to a YWCA family that has faced poverty, violence or homelessness.
There are 300 families in need.

Providence Intervention Center for Assault and Abuse in Everett seeks volunteers to assist in the office, be on-call or crisis line advocates, fill internships or help with short-term projects, such as website design and resource material design. Training is provided. A background check is required.

Nominate: Imagine gives away museum memberships
Imagine Children’s Museum introduces its Year of Cheer program to give deserving families in the community a free membership.
Nominate a family to receive a Family Fun Membership. Each week in November and December, one family will be selected to receive a one-year Family Fun Membership (good for up to two adults and two children living in the same household).
To nominate a family, go to www.imaginecm.org/holiday-membership-program and submit a short paragraph about why you feel the family is deserving of a membership. Imagine staff will select a family each week and contact them. Memberships cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash value.

Coach: Help kids learn to read
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, sponsored by Catholic Community Services, seeks people age 55 and older for a variety of volunteer opportunities.
Of particular need are volunteers to serve as reading coaches, helping elementary-age students after school at various Boys &Girls Clubs of Snohomish County. The commitment is from one to four days a week for one hour, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
