CENTRAL POINT, Ore. — Oregon State Police say a motorist was killed after driving the wrong way on Interstate 5 and colliding with another vehicle near Ashland.
Police say the crash occurred late Friday night. Forty-one-year-old Derek Massey of Talent, Ore., was pronounced dead at the scene. The other motorist, a 36-year-old California man, sustained injuries that were not life-threatening.
Police are still trying to determine whether drugs or alcohol were involved.
