COOS BAY, Ore. — An 8-year-old boy from Coos Bay died after the all-terrain vehicle he was driving overturned and landed on top of him.
The Coos County Sheriff’s Office told The World newspaper that the incident happened Saturday afternoon on the family’s property. The boy, Diavik Neilsen, was taken by ambulance to a Coos Bay hospital, where he died from his injuries.
The sheriff’s office says the investigation remains active.
