HOODSPORT — Authorities say an Oregon man died while diving near Shelton on the western edge of the Puget Sound.
The Mason County Sheriff’s office say the victim was diving Sunday with a group from Oregon, and was with an instructor when he surfaced unconscious.
The victim, believed to be in his early 50,s was pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation is underway.
