State Rep. Lillian Ortiz-Self from the 21st Legislative District has become vice chairwoman of the House Democratic Caucus.

The 21st District includes most of Edmonds, unincorporated areas north of Edmonds and Lynnwood and northeast of Lynnwood, all of Mukilteo and part of south Everett.

“I am excited to use my seat at the leadership table to promote the values and address the issues that impact Snohomish County,” Ortiz-Self said Wednesday.
