Edmonds Community College is offering new classes, degrees and certificates this fall.

Arts commission to meet tonight
The Lake Stevens Arts Commission meets from 6:30 to 8 p.m. tonight at the annex behind City Hall, 1812 Main St.
An update on this summer’s Music on the Lake concerts and other items are scheduled to be discussed.

Mukilteo
Historical society to honor ‘Pioneer of the Year’
Mas Odoi is scheduled to be honored as Mukilteo’s 2008 Pioneer of the Year by the Mukilteo Historical Society on Thursday.
The meeting of the historical society is 7 p.m. at the Rosehill Community Center, 304 Lincoln Ave.
Odoi plans to share his memories about growing up in Mukilteo’s Japanese Gulch. The public is invited, and refreshments will be served.
