Everett: Flag football clinic
The Snohomish County Boys &Girls Club will host a two-day flag football clinic by the Snohomish Vikings Semi-Pro Football Team. Register at your local Boys &Girls Club today.
This clinic is for ages 5 through 14 and will take place from 12 to 3 p.m. April 3 and 4 at the Everett Boys &Girls Club.
The cost for the clinic is $35 for one day or $50 for both days. Lunch and a shirt is included.

Gold Bar: VFW post offers breakfast
Martin-Osterholtz VFW Post 9417 plans a pancake breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday at 301 Third St., Gold Bar. A donation of $5 per meal and proceeds from a raffle will help send wounded veterans and their families to “Heroes in the Ballpark” in July at Cheney Stadium.
Stanwood: Shorebird experts to speak
Charles Duncan, director of the Western Hemispheric Shorebird Reserve Network, and world-renowned shorebird expert Rob Butler from British Columbia plan to speak at a special celebration of the Stillaguamish-Skagit river deltas being given a world-class designation of importance for shorebirds.
The gala event is 4:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Four Springs Lake Preserve on Camano Island. Cost is $17, which includes hors d’oeuvres catered by Cama Beach Cafe and a glass of beer or wine.

Breakfast to fund Safe Harbor Free Clinic
The third annual pancake breakfast and silent auction to support Safe Harbor Free Clinic is set for 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 27201 99th Ave. NW. Auction items include a Jack Gunter painting, gift certificates for services and gift baskets.
The goal is to raise $10,000 to keep the free clinic open for underinsured patients. An anonymous donor agreed to match $5,000 if that can be raised on Saturday. The first 350 people to attend the breakfast get coupons for the sporting good store Cabelas. Admission is by donation.

Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” is presented by Sultan High School today through Saturday in the school commons.
