Mukilteo: Author plans library talk
The author of an interactive children’s book is planning to meet with readers at the Mukilteo Library.
The event is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at the library, 4675 Harbour Pointe Blvd. The event is intended for children ages 5 through 11.
Author Will Howell is planning to talk about the concept behind his book “Zooflakes,” which uses paper-cut snowflakes to help teach kids about the alphabet.

Snohomish: Senior center breakfast
The Snohomish Senior Center and volunteers from the community are set to cook and serve breakfast from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at St. Michael Catholic Church, 1514 Pine Ave.
The breakfast includes pancakes, waffles, French toast, eggs, biscuits and gravy, ham and sausage, and juice and coffee or tea. The cost is $4 for adults and $3 for children.
Proceeds from this event help support the 45 programs and services offered at the senior center.
