Lake Stevens: New meeting date set
The Lake Stevens Planning Commission has moved its meeting originally scheduled for Wednesday to Jan. 16.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Community-Senior Center, 1808 Main St.
The planning commission usually meets the first Wednesday of the month, but January’s meeting was rescheduled because of the holidays.

Mukilteo: All about digital cameras
Learn about using digital cameras at a workshop being planned for the Mukilteo Library.
The digital photography workshop is scheduled 11 a.m. Jan. 12 at the library, 4675 Harbour Pointe Blvd. The free workshop is expected to be repeated Jan. 19 and Jan. 26.
Participants can learn about what to look for when choosing a digital camera, as well as how to use the cameras.

Snohomish: Kids can read to dogs
The Reading with Rover program is set to come to the Snohomish Library, 311 Maple Ave., on three Saturdays, Jan. 5, 19 and Feb. 9.
Children, ages 5 to 11, can drop in between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to read aloud to therapy dogs.
This program helps children strengthen reading skills and improve reading confidence.
