Marysville: Holiday carolers sought
The Marysville Downtown Merchants Association is seeking carolers and musicians for the holiday season.
The association is looking for singers and musicians to stroll Third Street, enhancing the atmosphere for shoppers in December. Holiday songs and music in any language or style are welcome.

Stanwood: Library to reopen today
The Stanwood Library is scheduled to reopen at 10 a.m. today with new carpet. The library was closed for several days while the carpet was being installed.
The inside of the library was also recently painted and new stained glass artwork by local artist Jack Archibald was installed.
The Stanwood Library is at 9701 271st St. NW.
Group to discuss development
The Stanwood Planning Commission plans to discuss zoning issues, economic development and the Transfer of Development rights program at a meeting at 7 p.m. tonight. The commission is also scheduled to review Snohomish County’s buildable lands report and its housing report.
The meeting is at the Stanwood Fire Station, 8117 267th St. NW.
