Marysville: Mah jong players sought
Anyone interested in mah jong is invited to join a group that plays the game regularly at the Ken Baxter Senior-Community Center.
Mah jong is a Chinese tile game involving four players.

Arlington: Free movie screenings
The Olympic Theater plans to show a free movie at 1 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Everyone is invited to “Winter Break at the Movies” to see “Surf’s Up.” The PG-rated film features animated surfing penguins.
The event is sponsored by the city of Arlington and the Olympic Theater.

Stanwood: Teen events planned
In January, the Stanwood Library plans to host teen afternoons each Wednesday at 3 p.m.
The events feature film festivals and gaming just for teens. There will also be free food.
The first teen afternoon is scheduled for this Wednesday.
