Arlington: Bingo night helps student scholarships

A fundraiser for high school scholarships is planned Saturday in Arlington.

Arlington Dollars for Scholars has scheduled a Bingo Night at 5:30 p.m. at Presidents Elementary School, 505 E. Third St.

Pizza and other refreshments are planned. Prizes include dinners at restaurants in the Arlington area.

Marysville: Get family safety tips on Saturday

A Family Safety Day Event is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Marysville Goodwill, 9315 State Ave.

Free car seat checks, bike helmet fittings, pedestrian safety information, drowning prevention tips, a visit by a Marysville fire truck and more are planned.

The event is hosted by Safe Kids Snohomish County and Goodwill.

Stanwood: Composting class canceled

Snohomish Conservation District is canceling its Saturday class on composting and shopping for farm property. The meeting was scheduled to be at Cedarhome Elementary School.
