Arlington: Survey of 67th Avenue NE starts
The city of Arlington has received $1.3 million from the federal government for design of the final round of improvements to 67th Avenue NE.
The improvements are set to include wider lanes, a possible turning lane, a new road surface, curbs, gutters, sidewalks and the continuation of the Centennial Trail from 204th Street NE to Lebanon Street.
Surveyors from HDR Engineering of Bellevue plan to be at the site for about two weeks to collect information for the project design. Some traffic delays are possible.
Road construction won’t begin this year because of lack of funding, city spokeswoman Kristin Banfield.
