CLEARVIEW — No one was injured when an outbuilding was destroyed by fire Monday afternoon in Clearview south of Snohomish.
The fire was reported around 2:35 p.m. in the 19000 block of Highway 9, Snohomish County Fire District 7 spokeswoman Heather Chadwick said.
When firefighters arrived, they found an outbuilding that was fully involved, she said.
Explosions inside the building could be heard while firefighters worked to put out the fire.
The fire was reported to 911 by a passerby.
No one was in the building at the time of the fire.
The Snohomish County Fire Marshal was on the scene Monday afternoon to determine the cause of the fire.
