TULALIP — The hunt is on this morning for two masked gunmen who tied up and robbed two employees at the Coach store at the Seattle Premium Outlet Mall on the Tulalip Indian Reservation.
The robbery happened about 7 a.m. The women were getting ready to open the store for the day, Tulalip Tribal Deputy Police Chief Carlos Echevarria said. Someone rang the bell for the delivery door at the back of the store. Deliveries often are made in the morning. The manager opened the door. Two men rushed in with bandanas over their faces. One was armed with a handgun; the other had a rifle.
The robbers used plastic ties to bind the women’s hands. The men grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash and fled.
One woman was able to free her hands after about 10 minutes and called 911, Echevarria said. No one was injured.
Police don’t have any leads or suspect information. Anyone with information about the robbery or the identity of the suspects is asked to call the Tulalip Tribal Police Department at 360-651-4608.
