Yard sale for senior center: Bethesda Lutheran Church of Mountlake Terrace has scheduled a yard sale fundraiser for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 18 at 23406 56th Ave. W., Mountlake Terrace.
The goal is to earn money for a kitchen remodel in their senior center. Household items, furniture, tools, plants and baked goods will be for sale.
Church ministries yard sale: Gloria Dei Lutheran Church has scheduled a fundraising yard sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 17 and 18 at 3215 Larch Way, Lynnwood. More than 150 church families will donate items. Lunch will be available to buy. All proceeds go toward church ministries.

Women’s Inspirational and Motivational Workshops for Emotional Recovery and Personal Growth: The Christian-based Learn to Let Go and Grow, a series of workshops, will begin Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 7 to 9 p.m., Sept. 11 and 13 at the Old Snohomish Library in the Carnegie Building, 105 Cedar Ave., Snohomish. There will be a different series for each of the two evenings.
