DARRINGTON – A group of hikers who were reported overdue in a rugged area of east Snohomish County were located this morning near Downey Creek.
Snohomish County sheriff’s search-and-rescue crews were going to meet the hikers and escort them down the trail. The trail is about 27 miles northeast of the Darrington Ranger Station.
