HYAK, Wash. — A truck hauling an oversize pipe hit an I-90 overpass on the east side of Snoqualmie Pass.
The Transportation Department says concrete from the bridge fell to the roadway, damaging the truck and pilot car. No injuries reported from the 4 a.m. accident. Bridge inspectors and maintenance crews have responded.
Eastbound lanes of I-90 are blocked at Easton. Traffic is detoured at the Exit 71 on-and-off ramps.
The department hopes to reopen the lanes at noon.
