EVERETT – Two crashes on I-5 snarled traffic northbound through Everett this afternoon.
No one was seriously hurt, but traffic was backed up as crews worked to clean up the mess.
A car overturned near the Snohomish River Bridge at about 1:20 p.m., Washington State Patrol trooper Kirk Rudeen said. Moments later, a three-car collision near 41st Street blocked lanes there.
Traffic was trickling by, he said.
Officials hope to have both scenes cleared in time for the afternoon commute, Rudeen said.
