Paula Abdul has had it and she’s standing up for herself — as long as she can keep her balance.
OK, OK… that was a cheap shot. But it’s all in keeping with the theme of Abdul’s current mission: to prove to the world that regardless of what is said in the media, she’s not a lush!
“I will not pretend it’s okay and I will stand up for myself and I always do,” Abdul tells Extra.
This is still mostly based on the now infmaous KCPQ, Channel 13, morning show interview Abdul did in which she seemed, well, something less than sober. She insists (again) that it was an audio mix-up and says she was shocked when the story turned into scandal!
Apparently there’s a fine line between scandal and YouTube fodder.
About whether or not she drinks alcohol, Abdul says, “I don’t like to. I’ve never been drunk. I’m goofy enough, am I not?”
Can’t argue with that triple-negative logic.
