Pedestrian, 67, injured in Monday night crash in Lynnwood

Police are asking for help tracking down the unidentified driver of the car that left the scene.

LYNNWOOD — Police in Lynnwood are investigating a car versus pedestrian crash that occurred around 8 p.m. Monday in the 19500 block of 40th Ave. W.

The vehicle involved was described as a red sedan, possibly a Honda or similar model.

The driver left the scene after hitting a 67-year-old woman. She was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with serious injuries, which don’t appear to be life threatening.
