EDMONDS — A man was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle on Tuesday after being struck by a car in downtown Edmonds.
The accident was reported near the intersection of Third Avenue S and James Street just before 4 p.m., said Leslie Hynes, a spokeswoman for Snohomish County Fire District 1.
The man, who appeared to be in his 40s, was seriously injured.
The crash remained under investigation Tuesday night, officials said. Edmonds police investigators expected to be on the scene for several hours.
