Pedestrian hit, killed by car on Bothell-Everett Highway

MILL CREEK — A young man was hit Monday by a white sport utility vehicle while walking along the Bothell-Everett Highway. He died at the scene.

The crash was reported at 9:30 a.m. near the intersection with 173rd Street SE.

The victim’s age and other details were not immediately known. The driver was a 45-year-old woman from Mill Creek, according to a news release.

Detectives believe the man was walking southbound along the side of the road at the time.

The Mill Creek Police Department is investigating.
