EVERETT — The pedestrian who was killed on Evergreen Way in what police said was a hit-and-run in late December has been identified.
Shortly after 7:30 p.m. Dec. 30, a car was heading north near the 7100 block of Evergreen Way, Everett police officer Ora Hamel said. It hit Daniel Martinez Gomez, 38.
The driver fled the scene in their vehicle, Hamel said.
The Everett man was reportedly transported to the hospital and pronounced dead.
Both lanes of Evergreen Way were closed and reopened at about 11 p.m.
Hamel couldn’t be reached for more information Monday.
