EVERETT — A pedestrian who died in a fatal hit and run last week on Evergreen Way has been identified.
Around 10:15 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to reports of a crash in the 4900 block of Evergreen Way. Witnesses reported seeing a blue Ford Mustang run into someone, stop, and then accelerate “very fast” south, according to a police report.
The deceased was identified as Joshua Kollman, 53, of Everett.
After stopping the vehicle on Evergreen Way, police saw the car had a shattered window with damage to the front bumper, officers said. The suspect allegedly did not admit to the crash at first, but then expressed concern over whether the pedestrian was OK, police said.
On Monday, the suspect remained in the Snohomish County Jail with bail set at $100,000.
