Pedestrian seriously hurt after being hit by car in Everett

Traffic in the area around Rucker Avenue and 41st Street had been shut down.

EVERETT — A pedestrian suffered serious injuries in a crash Thursday in Everett.

A vehicle struck a man around 3 p.m. at the intersection of Rucker Avenue and 41st Street, Everett police officer Aaron Snell said. The driver remained at the scene and showed no signs of being impaired.

The man, 48, was taken by ambulance to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.

Police shut down traffic in the area for an investigation.
